This Campsite is located at 500 meters from the Merujal on the municipality of Arouca, in plein Serra da Freita, at 1 km from the Caima River.
From the Campsite, it can be done activities of pedestrianism, mountain climbing, canoeing in the adjacent rivers, rafting in the Paiva River, orientation map and orienteering sports maps, BTT, adventure park and summer camps.
In the region, the most interesting touristic points, are the Serra da Freita, the Cascate of Frecha da Mizarela, at 1 kilometer, the Serra da Arada, the Serra de São Macário, the Arouca Geopark, the Paiva River, the Paivô River, the Urtigosa River and the Frades River, the farms and the seigniorial houses and the Monastery of Arouca, at 12 kilometers.
