The Solar dos Canavarros Hotel Douro, of 3 stars, it is located in a mansion built on the seventeenth century, in the centre of the village of Sabrosa, in front of the Avenida dos Combatentes da Grande Guerra and with the Douro valley and the farms of the Port Wine as landscape.<\/p>\n

The hotel unit provides 50 rooms including 2 suites, each with a fireplace and one with jacuzzi, being all the rooms equipped with ar conditioning, direct telephone, satellite TV and radio.<\/p>\n

There are also at the hotel, the restaurant ” Sabores do Douro”, which serves traditional gastronomy, two bars, two meeting rooms and banquet, two outdoor swimming pools and business support services.<\/p>\n

The Hotel provides to its guests, adventure activities and of leisure on the Douro Valley, in the Serra do Mar\u00e3o and on the Alv\u00e3o Natural Park, Douro River trips, and visits to farms of the Port Wine\u201d and wine tasting. There are also at the hotel, permanent expositions of handicrafts, art and local products, besides the cultural animation.<\/p>\n

In the municipality of Sabrosa, besides the Sabrosa village, wine demarcated region of the Poreto wine it exists as places of interest, Provesende, where it is produced the port wine, the Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Sa\u00fade – Saudel, ss Covas do Douro,\u00a0 the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Aflitos, the Mamoa of Madorras of the Megalithic Monuments in Vilar de Celas, the Gouvinhas parish and the parish of S\u00e3o Cristov\u00e3o do Douro.<\/p>\n
