The Tryp Dona Maria Hotel, of 4 stars, it is located at the entrance of Covilh\u00e3, in the zone of expansion of the city with a privileged view to the valley and to the mountains, being at 1 km from the center of the city.<\/p>\n

The hotel unit provides 87 rooms (78 doubles, 6 suites and 2 triples) distributed by nine floors, providing bathroom with hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, direct telephone, connection by fax and personal computer, access to the internet, frigobar, electronic safe and access by electronic card.<\/p>\n

There is also a restaurant, the bar “Dinastia”, a garage for 50 vehicles, indoor swimming pool, a health centre and beauty center with academy, hydromassage and steam sauna (additional cost).<\/p>\n

From the Hotel, it is possible to visit the Covilh\u00e3 and its several points of interest, such as the old Jewish quarter with its narrow streets and Manueline windows, the Chapel of S\u00e3o Martinho, the Chapel of Santa Cruz or the Museum of Wool.<\/p>\n

In the region, there are parks, gardens, seigniorial houses and many churches. It also highlights its gastronomy, with the Serra cheese or the rye bread and the homemade sausages, besides dishes as the traditional red bean soup, the roasted lamb, the lamb stew or the grilled trout, between other specialties such as the honey of the Serra da Estrela.<\/p>\n

Near Covilh\u00e3, it is located the city of Guarda. At 20 kilometers, there is the Serra da Estrela and at 45 kilometers, Castelo Branco.<\/p>\n
