Founded in March 1967, The Rodoeste- Transportadora Rodovi\u00e1ria da Madeira, Lda, has as principal activity, the public transport of passengers, by 27 regular routes, connecting daily the city of Funchal with the several locations of the counties of C\u00e2mara de Lobos, Ribeira Brava, Ponta do Sol, Calheta, Porto Moniz, S\u00e3o Vicente and Santana.<\/p>\n
Besides the regular careers, it also has established contracts with the Regional Education Secretary, to make transport services of students from some schools located inside his area of actuation, still providing vehicles for tourism services or rental, when requested.<\/p>\n
His current fleet is constituted by 90 buses, with a capacity varying between 52 and 68 seats, vehicles, mostly of recent construction or reconstruction.<\/p>\n
As complement to the careers, it establish a network of travel in internal circuit regime in Camara de Lobos, Ribeira Brava, S\u00e3o Vicente, Ponta do Sol and Calheta, having in attention serving the populations of the high areas from those counties, until then privatized of public transport.<\/p>\n
