The Parish contains a number of areas classified in the National Ecological Reserve, which stands out the area that extends between the Pinhal Novo and Rio Frio.<br title=\"Clique para obter tradu\u00e7\u00f5es alternativas\" \/><br title=\"Clique para obter tradu\u00e7\u00f5es alternativas\" \/>The Pinhal Novo\u00a0\u00eds also,\u00a0the largest ecological reserve space in the municipality of Palmela, covering the final part of the Salgueirinha Village and focusing on the Brejoeira Bayou Dam.<br title=\"Clique para obter tradu\u00e7\u00f5es alternativas\" \/><br title=\"Clique para obter tradu\u00e7\u00f5es alternativas\" \/>Nearby, there is the locality of Rio Frio and the respective area, a green corridor between the Natural Reserve of Sado Estuary Nature Reserve of the Tagus Estuary and the Arr\u00e1bida Natural Park, where it\u00b4s possible \u00a0to make land routes. At the Rio Frio dam, it\u00b4s possible to make fishing or water sports.
