This campsite it is located in area close to the bathing area Varadouro on the municipality of Horta on Faial Island, where there are beautiful natural pools formed by basaltic rocks.
The natural bay of Varadouro, vacation place by excellence, provides one of the most beautiful sceneries of the island, dominated by the Castelo Branco Morro, a large volcanic rock inhabited by sea birds, black rocks, vineyards and a diverse mantle of vegetation.
At the Park, there are the services of tents rental, installation of tents and stay of people.
In Varadouro, there are also the Varadouro thermal stations, designed by the architect Read Teixeira, inaugurated on August 1, 1954. His sulphurous waters discovered in 1868, are recommended for the treatment of skin diseases and rheumatism.
