The Taipas Campsite it is located in full green area on the Ave River margins, at few kilometers from Guimarães, being limited by the wooded Alameda Rosa Guimarães and by the Taipas Leisure Park.
Near the Campsite, it´s possible to visit a few tourist attractions such as the Citânia Briteiros, an archaeological place from the Iron Age, located on the top of the São Romão Mount, on the municipality of Guimarães, the Castreja Culture Museum, in São Salvador de Briteiros, also on the municipality of Guimarães, as well as the city of Guimarães and its historical center.
