The Serra do Montejunto Rural Campsite, it is located in a privileged area in terms of natural landscape, where it is possible to observe the species of flora and fauna, therein, typical of the region.

Next to the Campsite, there is the Environmental Interpretation Center of the Protected Landscape of the Serra de Montejunto, being that relatively close, it is located the Royal Ice Factory, also located in the same mountain and that had activity until the end of the nineteenth century.

The Serra de Montejunto, it is located at the north of the district of Lisboa, between the municipalities of Cadaval, at north and Alenquer, at south, at 65 kilometers from Lisboa. In Montejunto, there are the ruins of two monasteries: an older domicano, from the twelfth century, and another that was never completed. The monks of the first, taking advantage of the weather conditions of the mountain, built tanks where collected ice that later sent to Lisboa.
