The Palmela Village Golf Resort, of 4 stars, it is located at Quinta do Anjo, between Palmela and Azeitão, surrounded by the Serra da Arrábida, on the district of Setúbal.
Designed by the architect Tomás Taveira, this touristic resort, combines the contemporary architecture with one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of the region. The existing apartments at the Hotel are divided into typologies T0 and T1, fully furnished and equipped. The areas of the T0’s contemplate about 40 m2, and the T1’s, about 50 m2.
The Restaurant Moscatello, installed on the 1st floor of the Club House and Inspired by the Moscatel wine, characteristic of the region, provides a view of the golf course and serving Portuguese and international gastronomy.
At the hotel, there are also the services of organization of events, catering service, babysitting, renting for limited periods, decoration service, laundry and ironing service, restaurant reservations, hotels, taxis and cinemas, rent-a-car services, transfers from and to the beaches and information about pharmacies on service.
The Palmela Village Golf Resort offers a variety of sports and leisure equipments, with special emphasis to the golf, existing also a swimming pool at the hotel. At the Quinta do Anjo, are located the 4 Artificial Caves of Casal do Pardo Covas de Moura, of the Late Neolithic and the Late Chalcolithic.
In Palmela, as places of interest, there are the Castro of Chibanes (of the Chalcolithic, the Bronze Age and Iron and the proto-Roman period), the Castle of Palmela, the several churches, the Town Hall, the pillory of Palmela, the Fountain D. Maria I, the Palace of Rio Frio and the Tower of Signaling and maneuver of the Pinhal Novo railway station.
It also can be visited the region of Azeitão and the parishes of Vila Nogueira de Azeitão and of Vila Fresca de Azeitão, with its farms, churches and seigniorial houses.
