The Ovar Youth Hostel it is situated in Ovar at the periphery of the urban center of the city, surrounded by pine forests and at 2 kilometers from the Furadouro Beach.

In its installations, there are 27 rooms, café/ bar, living room, meeting rooms, public telephone, lockers for luggage, public telephone, sports field and car park and swimming pool.

Besides the visit to the local beaches, from the Hostel, it is possible to make sport activities, either in the forest, or in the river or make walks, the mountaineering, the mountain biking, or any one of the several nautical sports.

In Ovar, there are realized several festivities, such as the Ovar Carnival, the Lenten processions, the Feasts of the Sea in Furadouro, the Pilgrimage in honor of São Cristovão, the Feast of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem, the Pilgrimage in honor of Nossa Senhora do Parto at the Campos Garden and the Feast in honor of Santa Catarina, in the Riverside.

Between the natural elements of high ecological value of Ovar, it highlights the sea, the forest and the river, with a particular aptitude for the development of activities connected to the tourism and to the leisure.
