The Campsite wooded, it is in Idanha-a-Nova, near the Marechal Carmona dam, in the International Tejo region, near the Hot Springs of Monfortinho, inserted on the raiana area of Beira Baixa.

It has modern infrastructures with bungalows, swimming pool, supermarket, snack bar, children´s playground, outdoor swimming pool and sports installations, being generally searched by families and by adherents of outdoor sports practice, such as cycling and canoeing.

The proximities, presents a region rich in history and architectural heritage, with traces of Roman, Swabian and Visigothic and where there are granite buildings with a peculiar aesthetic value and based on the use of underground of granite and schist stone.

There are also in the region, beautiful landscapes and castles, which it highlights the castles, of Idanha-a-Nova, of Idanha-a-Velha, of Penha Garcia and the Monsanto village, recognized as The Most Portuguese village of Portugal, since 1938.

With strong traditions and customs, the folklore takes a very visible expression in the rural roots of the region, being the Idanha-a-Nova Ethnographic Ranch, created in 1935, one of the most representative.

Idanha-a-Nova is also an area where there is a great religion in all places, being that all the places have their own pilgrimage, being the largest and the most known, the annual party of Nossa Senhora of Almortão, which is celebrated on the third Monday after the Easter.

The region also offers a lot appreciated gastronomy, with the soup beans, coriander, the rabbit rice and the green raging asparagus, as some of the most appreciated specialties.
