Fertagus ensure the exploration of the railway connection of transport of passengers from the railway spindle North / South, between Lisboa and Setúbal and maintenance of some of the stations of the South Margin (From Pragal to Penalva), being also responsible for the sale of tickets of transport of the North / South railway spindle.
Currently, it serves 14 stations, in an extension of line with about 54 km. 10 on the South Margin: Setubal, Palmela, Venda do Alcaide, Palmela, Penalva, Coin, Fogueteiro, Foros de Amora, Corroios and Pragal and four on the North Margin: Campolide, Sete Rios, Entrecampos and Roma-Areeiro.
Fertagus is the first private operator to ensure the management and commercial exploration of a railway line in Portugal, by payment to REFER of a fee for use of the respective infrastructures.
