The Cerdeira Campsite, was opened in 1992 and it´s located inside the Peneda Geres National Park, in full Roman Geira (ancient Roman road), at few kilometers from Galicia.
Nearby, there is the forest of Albergaria, the village of Vilarinho da Furnas and the bayou with the same name. The area surrounding the Campsite, has a great natural beauty and cultural richness that preserves its architectural, environmental and landscaping values.
In the area, the users of the Campsite can enjoy some traditions related to food, which are the Magusto, the pig slaughter, the defoliated and threshing rye.
There is also the animation of the Campsite consisting of walking trails and horse riding, mountaineering, orienteering, canoeing, mountain biking and fishing.
The infrastructure of the Campsite presents the use of regional materials, which are the granite and wood.
In April 2011, the Cerdeira Campsite was recognized as an enterprise of Nature Tourism.
