The Carapacho Campsite is located in the parish of Luz, on the municipality of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, in the Graciosa Island, in front of the thermal stations of Carapacho, being a quiet space in harmony with the nature.

Its structure is divided in 3 floors and it has a capacity of about 100 tents, being equipped with outdoor grills in order to make meals, and an oven-of  kitchen type.

As points of interest, there are the São Mateus Beach, the Cave of Sulfur, an interesting geological phenomenon, the Restinga Lighthouse, the Graciosa Aerodrome, a modern airport structure, the Caldeira da Graciosa, the natural pools of Carapacho, the  Whale Islander, the Mount of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda, which presents the most beautiful view of the village of Santa Cruz da Graciosa, the village of São Mateus, the natural pools in Santa Cruz da Graciosa and the municipal swimming pool, in Santa Cruz da Graciosa.
