The Caliço Campsite, it is located in Vila Nova de Cacela, in Vila Real de Santo António municipality, being a green space located at short distance of a area beaches.
Featuring many natural shades, it´s rhe indicated place for those who apreciates the contact with the nature, the sea, sport and the adventure. Service is available for bungalows renting, outdoor pool, bar, bicycles, mini / supermarket, children´s playground, pool, restaurant, living room and snack bar.
Near the Campsite, beyond the area beaches, there are golf courses and the Cacela Riverside, which flows into the Ria Formosa. It´s also possible to visit the Old Cacela Fort, the Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção and the Village of Santa Rita, with a heritage that includes a megalithic tomb, an eighteenth century chapel, dedicated to Santa Rita, a sanctuary also dedicated to Santa Rita, of unknown origin and some houses of typical traces.
Near the village, there are still some lime ovens, an activity that together with the production of coal, had an important role in the past in the local economy.
