The agency Armarter Viagens e Turismo Lda was founded em1959 on Porto, with the objective of being a travel and tourism agency, and retail trade of stamps.
In 1987, it began its activity as a touristic operator, in the following of the growing demand and commercialization of services such as the selling of tickets of national and international train, bus and plane tickets, hotel reservations, visas, passports and other touristic services.
Later, in 1994, it acquired its first long-distance bus. It specialized in bus circuits, having expanded the dislocations to destinations such as Benidorm, Salou and La Manga, always directing for the regional circuits, at national level.
In 2009, Armarter began a process of fusion with the travel agencies TRANSOCEÂNICA TUR and travels COSTA FERREIRA & MARTINS LDA, which had already acquired in 1995, a share and the totally, respectively. Currently, the group aims on the developing of a platform for online reservations.
Em 2009, a Armarter iniciou um processo de fusão com as agências de viagens TRANSOCEÂNICA TUR e viagens COSTA FERREIRA & MARTINS LDA, das quais, já havia adquirido em 1995, uma quota e a totalidade, respectivamente. Presentemente, o grupo aposta no desenvolvimento de uma plataforma para reservas on-line.
