The Olissippo Lapa Palace, it is on a luxurious palace built on the nineteenth century, located in Lapa, in Lisboa, surrounded at the top of one of the 7 hills of Lisboa, with view to the Tejo River, surrounded by several embassies, inserted in a majestic sub –tropical garden.
The Hotel, of 5 stars, integrated on the Olissippo Hotels Group, provides of three distinct wings: the Palace Wing, the Garden Wing and the Villa, with a total of 109 rooms. The rooms and suites of the new wing were decorated with Portuguese fabrics and furnishings, having all of them individual decoration and distinct.
All the rooms of the palace have as decorative elements, pieces of Vista Alegre porcelain, ceramic Portuguese enterprise, founded in 1824. The 21 rooms and the suite of the Count of Valenças on the Palace, were redecorated in 2003 with furniture elaborated on the Noth of Portugal in Pacos de Ferreira, where were recreated the original furniture of style D. João V, D. Maria I and D. José.
The petals, with gold leaf in the walls of the Count of Valenças Suite (originally part of the ballroom) were restored, together with the two mirrors in the living room. All the rooms and the suite, have different styles, art deco, colonial, Algarve and neoclassical.
At the Restaurant Lapa, are served traditional dishes from Italy and Portugal, in a elegant environment. The Restaurant of the swimming pool, Le Pavillon, open during the summer months, offers unique cocktails, iced teas of own confection and fresh fruit juices. For the lunch, it is available a selection of sandwiches, fresh fish and seafood, tapas and salads.
With large windows that brighten the entire space, the Rio Tejo Bar, it is an agreeable place, indicated for a business meeting or a casual drink with a terrace with view to the Tejo River. It is also available, the Service of Room service 24 hours a day, where, besides the breakfast are served tapas and salads.
The Hotel also provides an outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and Turkish bath, as well as gym and cardio fitness. At the park of the hotel, it can be parked the car free of charge. From the local where it is the Olissipo Lapa Palace, there is the rapid access to the center of Lisboa, as well as to its places of entertainment and leisure.
