Located in the MinhoValley, near the village of Covas and the MinhoRiver, in Vila Nova de Cerveira, the Covas Campsite is a quiet space in proximity to the nature.
Its structure has alveoli, bar, children´s playground, bicycles, post office, grills, mini-supermarket, swimming pool, living room, games room, snack bar, restaurant with regional cuisine, public telephone service station for auto caravans and electric plugs for caravans and tents and vehicle washing area.
At 400 meters, there is a bus station, at 1 kilometer, there is fishing, at 2 kilometers, canoeing, at 12 quilometers, a train station. From the Campsite, it can be done tours or sporting activities. In the Summer, several activities are realized, such as music week-ends, evenings, walks, between others.
In Covas, there is river, mountain, recreation area, tradition and incomparable natural beauty. It highlights Equally the Church of Covas, the Couço of Monte Furado and the House of Covas, an eighteenth century solar.
It also can be visited the counties surrounding the Campsite, as Vila Nova de Cerveira, Caminha, Ponte de Lima and Paredes de Coura and Valença and their respective historical and environmental heritage.
