The Retiro da Fraguinha, it is a rural Campsite, located in the Serra da Arada, in the parish of Candal, on the municipality of São Pedro do Sul.

It is a Campsite surrounded by a beautiful landscape and where it´s possible to  camping in the shadows of the pines, beech, bethulias, brooms and the presence of birds, indicated for the appreciators of the nature, being possible to make  walks  by the region. From the same, it can be possible to discover through organized courses or participate in programs that vary since exhibitions, tours, outdoor activities, songs and dances.

Its structure provides a lot of shadows, animation, bar, bicycles, post office, irons, gas grills, washing machines, childrens´playground, swimming pool, first aid station, restaurant, living room, snack bar, public telephone ,multipurpose saloon, electric plugs and electric plugs for caravans and tents. At 10 meters, there is fishing, canoeing at 12 kilometers, at 23 kilometers, a bus station.

In the Campsite, there is the House of Bethulias, an old forest house transformed into a mountain accommodation. It consists of three small apartments, two of them, of typology T1 and T2, properly equipped.

From the Campsite, it´s possible to explore the nature of the Arada mountains, the Serra of Freita and Serra of São Macário, surrounded by villages, cultures and natural beauty. It´s also possible to explore the mountain villages of Covas do Monte, Covas do Rio and the Pena Village.

On the municipality of São Pedro do Sul, there are located the Thermal Stations of São Pedro do Sul, being that as places of interest, there are also the Church of Santo António, the Church of São Francisco, the Church of São Pedro do Sul, the Church of São Sebastião, all in São Pedro do Sul.
