The Penedones Campsite is located on the municipality of Montalegre, in the proximities of the Alto Rabagão Dam, fed by the Alto Rabagão River.

Its structure, has a public telephone, living room with TV, washes clothes, dishwasher, grill, gas, post office, bar / café and rental of bicycles. Near the Campsite, there is the Alto Rabagão Dam and its Bayou, which allows the practice of various water sports activities.

On the municipality, as places of interest, there is the village of Montalegre, the Montalegre Castle, the National Park of Peneda-Geres, the village of Pitões das Júnicas, the Cascade of Pitões de Júnias, the Monastery of Pitões das Júnias, the Misarela Bridge over the Rabagão River, the Arcos Roman Font, the Frades Old Bridge and the Montalegre Old Bridge.
