This Campsite, belonging to social services of the PSP, it´s located outside the city of Tavira.
Featuring 70 000 m2 and natural shadows, it offers 30 tents, two and three bedrooms with living room and 12 prefabricated houses equipped with kitchen, living room and bedroom, as well, as five prefabricated houses, pools, games room and bar service.
The Campsite, it`s only opened to the beneficiary of the social services of the PSP during the bathing season (1st June to 30th September) and 1 st September to 1 st June, also to the campers.
During the summer season, the Tavira Campsite provides a range of support services, that includes service bar and dining room with self-service line (from July 1 to September 15), living room and TV, game room and meeting hall, sports center, a swimming pool for adults and another for children. Out of season, the refectory service is not available.
In Tavira, it can be visited the Nature Reserve of Ria Formosa, just outside the city and accessible by boat, offering 11 kilometers of beach, one of the most sought after by birdwatchers sea.
There are also several historic churches in Tavira and a set of gardens, that in the summer, are the scene of a lot of animation promoted by the city.
